Invoicing Support

6/20/2017

When you are preparing invoices, the time records you have created in MyCorbu will save you time and simplify your process. This is the process you might follow to prepare an hourly-rate style invoice.

Preparing a simple hourly-rate invoice

In this method you will send a very brief letter-style invoice. You may attach a breakdown of the hours. A sample invoice like this might look like the image below with the attachment shown.

Invoicing
This would be the process to use this style of invoice.
  • Create a letter-style invoice template for this project. The above is an example.
  • Create a spreadsheet template similar to the above if you want to show the breakdown of hours and amounts. This is easier than modifying the exported data each month.
  • Go to the ‘Project Time’ page and to the ‘All Project Time’ table. [1] (see below)
  • Click the filter button for ‘Last Month’. [2]
  • Search for the Project name. [3]
  • Click the ‘Date’ header to get the dates in the order that you want. [4]
  • Export the table in CSV format and save it with a representative name, e.g. “Devou-May-2017”. [5]
  • Copy and paste the data from your export file to your spreadsheet.
  • Complete your letter-stye invoice.
  • Save a PDF of your letter and your spreadsheet.
  • Send your client an email with the letter and spreadsheet as attachments.
