Help for MyCorbu Architectural Bookkeeping
Categories are used when documenting an expense. All types of Expenses are supported in the MyCorbu BOOKS subscription.
Comp Time in MyCorbu BOOKS streamlines the Comp Time process by eliminating special use Project-Phases, by providing all the tools you need in one place, and by adding a dollar value to calculations of Comp Time. This process does not use timekeeping functionality and so does not jeopardize the accuracy of Billable Ratio calculations.
However Comp Time is NOT integrated into Bookkeeping because Comp Time entries only impact your bookkeeping when Comp Time is “Paid out” rather than “Taken”. When you are preparing invoices, the time records you have created in MyCorbu will save you time and simplify your process. This is the process you might follow to prepare an hourly-rate style invoice.

You can use MyCorbu to track Comp Time by following this process below. See this article for some background on the concept of Comp Time. (link to Architekwiki post) What Is The Project Ref
The Project Ref is an optional identifier that you can attach to your Projects to conveniently keep a piece of information available. What Are Time Budgets
Time Budgets are the number of hours that you allocate for the work of a Project-Phase. If you use a tool similar to FeeCalqs, then you will have an idea of how many hours each Project-Phase should require. What defines a User?
A User is simply someone who uses the MyCorbu app; but there is a bit more to it. The Billable Ratio is the ratio of billable hours to non-billable hours. The Ratio is calculated for you.
You can export the data available to you at any time and as often as you wish.
'Export' is available for most tables in MyCorbu. Initial Setup And Entering Time This User Guide will introduce you to the key information that you need in order to use MyCorbu for timekeeping. Other HELP articles will introduce you to additional features.

In MyCorbu you set up whatever Phases you are accustomed to using. You will probably have a dozen or more. At least one Phase is recommended. A Project-Phase is simply the combination of the Project Name and the Phase Name.
Project-Phases are a key concept in MyCorbu. What Is The Admin Role
The Admin Role controls access to the MyCorbu account. Adding Users is one of the two functions that distinguish an Admin. The other is managing the Phase Names that the organization uses in their projects. Your Standard Phase Names are established by an Admin for consistency. Filtering time records gives you feedback on the information that your records hold. This is a major benefit that spreadsheets, paper forms and many expensive accounting systems don't offer.
