What Is The Project Ref The Project Ref is an optional identifier that you can attach to your Projects to conveniently keep a piece of information available. Where Does the Project Ref Show Up
The Project Ref is shown on the All Project Time table on the All Time page of the app. If you choose to not use the Project Ref, then the column does not appear in the table. Keep in mind the impact of having this column appear in your exports of All Project Time if you are using the exports as part of a report or invoice. Ways To Use The Project Ref Using the Project Ref gives you a way to keep a piece of information connected to your time entries. Some potential uses are to show:
Who Can Set the Project Ref Any User with a Level 3 or Admin User Role can add a Project Ref. When Do You Set The Project Ref The Project Ref is set on the Project record when you create a new Project or by editing an existing Project in the Project table found on the Projects page. The Project Ref can be changed or removed any time, but all previous time entries will be affected by the change. How Do You Set The Project Ref Go to the Projects page. Click the Add Project button. On the form that opens, you will find a box to enter a Project Ref. If the Project is existing, locate the Project in the table of Projects, and click the 'view' link in the Project Details column. At the bottom of the form that appears is an 'edit' link that allows you to modify the Project information. Comments are closed.
