Timesheet Page Of App

Once you have submitted your login credentials you will be taken to this view of the app. There are two things to notice on this page.

First is the Timesheet menu item. You will click here to access your personal Timesheet if you are on a different page of the App.

Second is your account access link that identifies who is logged into MyCorbu on this browser.

Change Password
Picture
When you are first added to your organization's account, your password is set to a standard password. For security's sake you should change your password to something unique and hard to guess.

One reasonably strong password strategy is to use three or more unrelated words separated by numbers or special characters. Misspelling the words is even better.
An example:   Grean9busbouy$baseket9

To change your password, click on the "Account Settings" link. Below your name and email address is a box to enter your current password. Below that are two boxes to use to enter and confirm your new password. Click SUBMIT and your password has been changed. You can change your password anytime.

Keep your password somewhere safe for future reference.

Timesheet

There are three sections to your Timesheet. At the top is your personal Timesheet (that needs to be set up as described next). Below your Timesheet are several menu buttons, and below the buttons is a table of all your past time records.

Set Timesheet Display

Here is how to set up the Project-Phases that you want displayed on your Timesheet.

Click the button that reads "Update Your Timesheet Display".

The table of displayed Project-Phases appears. This is what it will look like after you add some Project-Phases.

Click the button above the table that is labeled "Add Project-Phase To Display".

The form that appears has a drop down listing of all active Project-Phases. Select one. Click "Yes" to display it. Click SUBMIT.

Repeat for all Project-Phases you want to start each day with on your Timesheet.

You can modify your selections whenever you wish.

NOTE: the app adds the selected Project-Phases to your Timesheet overnight, so these will appear starting the next day. Overnight, all time records will be removed that still register '0.00' hours, noticeable by the yellow highlight.

TIP: If you often complete your time entries the following day, enter an odd amount, say 1.11, that will prevent your record from being removed AND signal its incomplete status.

Ways To Enter Time
Picture

There are three ways to enter time on your Timesheet.

1. The easiest way to enter time is to simply click on the 'hours' cell of your Timesheet table at the top of the page. A box appears in which you enter the number of hours in decimal format and click SUBMIT. If you work on this Project-Phase again later the same day, simply click in the cell again and update the time entry. If you need to update the Description, you can add to the existing description.

2. The second way is similar, except that rather than clicking in the 'hours' cell, you click the edit link in the row that you want to edit. This opens a form, allowing you to edit Date, Project-Phase, Hours, and Description at the same time. This is an editing function, so if you change the date or the Project-Phase, then you overwrite the previous time entry. If you want to add rather than update, use the third method.

3. The third way is to click the button reading ADD TIME ENTRY. This brings up a blank form with today's date entered. This form requires you to select a Project-Phase, and enter your hours. A Description may be entered, too. You will need this form for all entries until you set up your Timesheet. You will also need it when a new Project-Phase comes along that has not been added to your Timesheet yet.
