The Forms and Tables throughout MyCorbu have been updated to require, or to show, Project-Phases for all data. The upcoming addition of Fees and Invoice features makes it necessary to have a 'common denominator’ - and the Project-Phase is the common denominator.
Since there are normally many more Project-Phases than Projects this will be less convenient at first. After clicking in the Project-Phase box, typing the first 2-3 letters of the Project name will reduce the scrolling needed to find the Project-Phase that you want.
Now you can assign target Billable Ratios and view each staff member's Billable Ratio for six timeframes.
If you use the powerful Billable Ratio tools built into MyCorbu, tracking an individual's Billable Ratio is simple. Check out the new tools by going to the Admin Page > Staff Details button, which brings up a table of staff members.

Eventually Rates change. The Labor Rate and the Charge Rate increase due to raises. When they do, you can lock the past entries of everyone by 'freezing' them while making the change.

Two more Reference Guides are substantially complete. The Reference Guides for the Timesheet Page and the All Time Page have been published.

The Guides are intended to give you easy access to information about the Page/Tasks that you are working with. The HELP articles provide in depth information and specific articles are linked from each item in the Guide.
I am changing the MyCorbu website menu link that opens the MyCorbu App.
Next week you will find that this link takes you to the stand-alone App. The difference is that the App is not embedded in the MyCorbu website. This is a big benefit when printing your data or using 'Print' to create a PDF. You will find that all the 'MyCorbu' HTML doesn't clutter up the results.
If you prefer the 'old' way, the link has been moved under the 'Other' menu dropdown.
If you use a bookmark or other method of accessing MyCorbu, you might want to replace the URL with this new one:
NEW TERM OPTIONS
In the past, all subscriptions lasted a 'trimester', also known as ‘4 months’.
In the near future a variable term will be offered in the new forms that you use to create, upgrade, or renew a subscription.
You have a choice of 4, 6, or 12 month durations for your subscription. Every time that you renew you will have this choice.
The longer terms do not have discounted rates, however they do save you time if you choose to renew less frequently.
Guide For BASIC MyCorbu
I recently completed an on-boarding guide for MyCorbu as a way of exploring an app called Teachable.

The login credentials that are asked for just allow you to return later.
I have noticed that the Project-Phase Table keeps getting bigger and bigger, which pushes all the other items on the Projects page several screenfuls down.
Solution: all the menus are now at the top of the page including a new link to the Projects Table. The Projects Table is still at the bottom of the page, but this menu link is much handier.
The default number of records per table is now 100 since table size won't require extra scrolling.
Table Added To Aid Payroll Prep
A new table has been added to aid with preparation of payroll.
See Projects Page, Design Time Cost menu, button labeled "$ Payroll Prep".
The table is grouped by staff member and shows totals for hours and for labor cost. Set two filters to isolate the timeframe of the payroll period.
Grouping Records In Tables
I have been experimenting with a ‘grouping’ feature. One of the columns of data in a table can be used to group rows that are the same for that piece of data. I have used 'Date' in the table of personal time entries on the Timesheet page. This allows you to see subtotals for each day as well as an overall total. On the Projects page the Project-Phase table is now grouped by Project which gives you a project by project view of budget status.
